EDGES goes into overdrive....
The fifth series of the popular GenX magazine program, 'EDGES with Mal Fletcher' is now well into production.
Recently, the crew have been hard at work shooting in London and Copenhagen. Subjects covered in this new series including: Privacy (vs. Big Brother), Euthanasia, The Art of Thinking (Developing your Brain Power), Civil Disobedience -- and much more... PLUS three special mini-documentaries on Christians who are having a major influence in their fields.
Mal Fletcher says, 'This series has probably been the most pressurized we've done so far. At the very beginning of the year our largest single sponsor pulled out just as we were beginning to film.'
'This was God's way of pushing us to another level in terms of sponsorship strategies. We put out an appeal to a relatively small number of churches and friends and within a few weeks around 80% of the money we needed had been committed.'
'We're still raising the remainder. And we're confident that God will provide. We know that this program is about to hit a lot more people!'
The EDGES production team are also now working with B/M/C Advertising, based in Oklahoma, USA. This group of committed Christians is standing with Mal to see the programs reach a wider audience -- especially in the secular field, in the USA and Europe.
Please pray for Ben Ferrell, the owner of this company, and his team as they are in the front line of trying to see quality programming by Christians reaching a new audience.

Oh, BTW, the EDGES media site -- currently at www.nextwavemedia.org --will shortly receive a much needed overhaul. Our Web director, Dean Worth will be 'attacking' this project from August onward. By the time the new series starts to air, later in the Autumn, the site will be cooking -- under the new name: www.edgestv.com

Mal Fletcher, I would just like to take this opportunity to say thankyou for the inspiration you are. I was at Rock Nations and found your ministry incredibly refreshing especially when you spoke on Celebrity and what happens when that creeps into the church.
