News about an affair and attempted marriage patch-up involving British TV celebrity Paul Hollywood has raised questions in the British press and media about what makes middle-aged men take risks with their relationships - and whether marriages can be repaired afterwards.

Mal Fletcher was interviewed today by the BBC's Mike Parr about what makes men take such risks and whether, as some claim, affairs can be helpful to a relationship.
