Sydney Men Make Statement
The Hillsong Men's Conference in Sydney, Australia, brought together men from across the city and the nation for a two-day intensive teaching and inspiration experience.
Led by Pastor Brian Houston and his team, the conference celebrated manhood at a time when many men are feeling under pressure as to their identity and role in the community.
Mal Fletcher was one of the two special guest speakers at the event. After the event, he said: "It's wonderful to see more than 4000 men come together in one place, with one focus -- to take responsibility for the future of their families, businesses and the world in general."
"Some social commentators, including some ardent feminists, are saying that there has been anti-male agenda in much of our society and that it has now gone too far. They say it is confusing men so they no longer know what is expected of them."
"I can tell you, after conferences like this one, there are also a great many men who are quite sure of their calling and destiny under God. The men I met here are committed to taking their rightful place, as servers and leaders, within their families and communities."
"This was a truly significant conference and I think it will live long in my mind in the minds of probably everyone there."

Dear Mal, I saw you some years ago in Lisbon. I was deeply blessed by your prophetic spirit for the nations. I'm especially moved by your messages that speak about being an influence in our world...

Rocknations went to another level this year: it was rocking. The bands were awesome, the messages were life-changing, challenging me to live God loud. It's amazing when God shows up at a place.
PHUMZILE, United Kingdom
Great to hear those 80s songs (that blessed so many back then). 'To share God's love in music and word' is a great calling. I guess there's no time for a new album?!
Ann, Australia
