Church On The Edge In Adelaide
The Edge Church in Adelaide, Australia has long been associated with the work of Next Wave International.
Recently, it has been through some challenging times, but it is emerging with great strength of character and with its integrity and reputation in the community enhanced.
Led by Pastors Danny and Sharonne Guglielmucci, this church has a long record of successful community help projects. These have literally changed the lives of many thousands of people across Adelaide and have inspired churches across the world to attempt similar social programmes.
The Edge Church leadership network, EdgeNet, now has chapters in Australia, South Africa and Europe. It is built on a relational model, providing a great opportunity for pastors and leaders of organisations to network with others who have a similar passion for vibrant Christian witness in their communities.
Mal and Davina Fletcher recently visited Edge Church, Adelaide again. Mal was guest speaker in the church and said after his visit: "This church is stronger than ever."
"Many readers of this website will know about the recent press coverage dealing with Pastor Danny's son, Michael."
"Obviously, this has been a very difficult time for Danny and Sharonne and for other members of the church family."
"In the midst of everything, thought, they have kept moving forward with their vision to see a church that truly helps people in need across the city. At the end of the day, even the most critical person in the community has to admire an attitude like that."
"I believe that Edge Church is about to turn the page into a whole new level of influence. Recent events, whilst very sad, will in the end serve to strengthen them for their destiny."

Re: 'The Cashless Society' TV show... with rising crime rates & the threat of terrorism many people would welcome RFID technology, the cashless society & one world government to solve our problems. Should we be more aware of what they might be getting themselves into?

You are right that we often shrink back from fully expressing our convictions because it puts us "out there". We must realise that the world looks at us at the same time as they hear us. We must learn the lessons & press on.
