Max Mosley - Private Values, Public Performance

Added 19 August 2008 View full list    Print version
Do private values affect the public performance of public figures?

This was the key question in a debate featuring Next Wave International director Mal Fletcher on BBC World News recently.

The president of the International Motor Racing Federation, Max Mosley, recently won a liable case against a British tabloid newspaper. The newspaper had exposed his involvement in SM sex orgies with a number of London prostitutes. He may have won the case, but did he lose something more important -- his position of trust and respect in the public sphere?

Man this site rocks! I get fired up on this site every week and challenged by the daily recharges, but the best thing is to see how you guys are finding ways to communicate Jesus to today's people in a way they can get it. I've got plenty of ideas from you for my service here in Japan. Keep it up!
