Dominion Theatre Packed
Once again this past Sunday, the famous Dominion Theatre in London was packed with young adults who are passionate about their faith in Jesus!
Hillsong Church, London, is certainly one of Europe's fastest growing, and for good reason reports Mal Fletcher.
Mal was guest speaker again at the afternoon and evening services this past week and said afterwards: 'The great thing about Hillsong London is that, while the church has grown to over 8000 people in just 8 years, the leadership under Pastor Gary Clarke are committed to much greater growth.'
'For them, this is just the beginning.'
'I made the remark on Sunday -- which I've made many times since the 1980s -- that football stadiums were not built for football. They're on load to football, but built for the church!'
'These guys believe it -- and they're proving that such growth and influence are not beyond the church, even in Europe.'
Mal spoke in both sessions about the ten major ideas which are shaping our culture. The messages will be availabe on the audio section of this site shortly.
This coming week, the church hosts the Colour Conference for women, at the historic Royal Albert Hall.

Every morning when I read Daily Recharge, God speaks to me so clearly through His word! I am so encouraged. Keep up the great work!

I absolutely agree with you Mal on the danger of elevating of our leaders. There is something in man to want 'a king'. It's present in our current celebrity culture. It's curious when we see it in the world and it's pathetic when we see it in Christendom.

Mal, I saw you at Hillsong London and since then have visited your site a few times. Really enjoy your work. Very useful insights and content.
