Rock the Globe rocks Sweden!
More history was made on Friday-Saturday October 27-28. This time in Stockholm, Sweden.
'Rock the Globe', an initiative of New Generation International in conjunction with churches across Sweden, brought together over 11,000 people on the Saturday night, and thousands during the Friday night and Saturday.
Over 700 were prayed with on Friday night, and hundreds more over the Saturday, in an event which will have an ongoing effect on Sweden.
The event featured a unique mix of music from some of Europe's biggest Christian bands, with speakers, a debate featuring some of Sweden's leading public figures, and much more.
Magnus Persson, leader of New Generation International and the visionary behind the event preached a powerful closing message on Saturday night. Mal Fletcher, leader of Euro Youth Events network later paid tribute to Magnus' vision and tenacity.
'This event has broken something for Sweden. People won't be thinking small any more. Magnus is to be congratulated for his boldness in the face of what was, at the beginning, scepticism in the minds of some people. We are so proud of what his team and all the churches have achieved.'
Guest bands included Delirious (pictured above), World Wide Message Tribe, Youth Alive Sydney band (Australia), B.I.G. (Sweden) and more. Speakers included Mal Fletcher (pictured below), Christine Caine, Stephan and Anna Christiansen and more.
In the few days following the event, it was featured in very positive reports in the major Swedish newspapers and clips have been shown on national TV. A documentary, made by Swedish national TV, is also in the pipeline.
So, basically, the Kingdom of God was really on show at Rock the Globe.
Believe it! God is building for something BIG in Europe!

Thanks for producing EDGES, which isn’t like some televangelist shows! See you next time you come to Planetshakers!
Adrian, Australia
I've been listening to a lot of the EDGES shows online and find them highly intellectual and factual and extremely interesting. They're so useful in building my understanding of real issues seen from Christian eyes... I love it! Thanks.

I thoroughly enjoyed your article on 'UFO's: are we alone?'.
