MasterClass with Mal Fletcher A Hit In USA
The Communications and Media MASTERCLASS with Mal Fletcher visited the USA for the first time in March.
The MasterClass event is a one-day, media-rich intensive in how to use up-to-date communicaton techniques and the technologies of today and tomorrow to speak where people listen.
These events are already running in a number of major cities in Europe and during 2006. The US events attracted leaders from church, community and business in two cities.
Cherry Hill, New Jersey, in the north of the USA and Martinsburg, West Virginia in the south, played host.
This MasterClass mini-tour was co-hosted by the Christian Leadership Network alongside The Living Room (WV) and
River of Life Worship Center (NJ).
After the events, Mal said: 'Both of these churches are led by progressive, creative leaders who are pushing ahead to break down walls of predictability. Kyle Horner and Kevin Greene are leaders with a strong commitment to creative communication.'
'Their respective leadership styles present a great model for what MasterClass is trying to promote -- a Christianity which doesn't simply build churches, but changes cities.'
After the event, one of the host pastors said, 'Mal, everything in front of me has a whole different outlook since the Masterclass. I'm so glad we had you here.'
During his MasterClass teaching, Mal said, 'In a world of increasing information clutter, communicators and leaders of all kinds must work harder than ever to break through with their message. This is true in business, marketing and particularly perhaps in the church.'
'The biggest enemy to good comunication is predictability. The Communication and Media MasterClass equips leaders to break through the wall of preconceptions which affect how an audience hears and interacts with their message.'
