'EDGES' - Ready To Go National Across the USA!
Work is almost completed on re-editing work needed for the launch of 'EDGES with Mal Fletcher' on American TV from May 1. The extra work was needed not to change the content in any way, but to allow for the network's advertising space.
The launch on FAMILY net (**see below), one of the most highly regarded Christian TV broadcasters in the USA, is set for May.
Please pray for God's continuing favour on the programs as they now go out across Europe (Dream Family Network), Australia (Australian Christian Channel) and now to up to 40 million people across the States.
Mal says, 'The program is all about mission into contemporary western culture - especially GenX. It gets a great response from unchurched people because it is very up front with its message on current issues and the Bible, but is also entertaining and thought-provoking.'
'We just want people to see that they should think again about the Lord, that their preconceived ideas are probably way off base. We don't want to make Jesus "cool", we just want to show people the real Jesus they've never heard about.'
'My heartfelt thanks go out to Tina and Rene Meyer (Denmark) who have spent many hours re-editing, Dean Worth (Australia) who has invested so much time in the re-configuration of our EDGES website, and Birgit Girling (Germany) who is working right now on the Webshop.'
Series 4 of EDGES is in pre-production right now.
We are in need of:
* Researchers for our growing Next Wave Research Team. We have people involved from several nations and would welcome applicants from around the world. It's interesting work, fun AND its having a big effect on millions of people. If you would like to apply to join this exciting, extended world team, contact Niklas Aas.
* New editing facilities for post-production. Please pray for the Lord to open doors somewhere in Europe for the level of production required.
* $50,000 USD to produce series 4 - not much money by secular standards, but we invest it extraordinarily well! Please pray that God will open generous hearts to stand with us in this huge venture of faith to reach the masses.
