EDGES Human Trafficking & Youth Violence - VID

30 June 2008

Filming continues for the new series of EDGES with Mal Fletcher.

Last week, the team recorded Mal's pieces to camera, which drive each of the documentaries, on two hot issues: 'Human Trafficking: The New Slavery' and 'Youth Violence and Gangs'.

The latter was filmed in Peckham, London, which some are calling 'England's Bronx' because of a long list of youth murders over the past few years, including the infamous case of Damilola Taylor.

Meanwhile, other segments in production include the ever popular vox pops, expert interviews, 'around-the-table' and more.

Production now takes place in four nations of the world and the full series of ten half-hour magazine documentaries will take more than ten months to complete.

The series is slated for completion at the end of September 2008, which means it will likely hit TV screens (and the web) early in 2009.
